Haori Patch It Up Jacket
The Haori is a traditional Japanese jacket, usually worn over Kimono. A versatile boxy sustainable upcycled denim jacket.
The collar and cuff are adorned with Sashiko, a Japanese decorative reinforcement stitching technique. The length of the jacket can be customized. The jacket is made from post-production pieces. This is a made to order top which follows a zero-waste principle and hence you might find slight changes in your product. Time taken to complete an outfit – 58 hours

Punah being a sustainable venture, is trying to cover the whole spectrum of textile waste and upcycle it. We upcycle pre-production, post-production and post-consumer waste.

Punah: or “पुनः” translates to ‘afresh’ which means - in a new or different way. Punah aims to provide a second life to fabrics by adding a personal touch of modifying them using handicraft techniques. At Punah, every piece is restored, repaired and upcycled with the help of artisans. They wish to save as many clothes from the landfill as possible by reducing the usage of raw material and increasing the life cycle of an outfit.
