This is the show stopper piece of our collection, made in pure handwoven silk jamdani in navy blue color. The fabric speaks luxury in every inch of the weave. Its a double layer dress with the bottom layer made of Silk organza with detailed hand embroidered cut work. It has very interesting sleeves made in half jamdani & half sheer organza, with detailed knife pleats in the sleeves. Its a turtle neck dress with raglan cut and opening & buttons at the back. This style will always make you stand out from the rest. This collection is an assorted range of textiles & handspun fabrics sourced from Banaras, Islampur, Murshidabad & quaint villages of India. The inspiration for the embellishments & embroideries has been derived from the artist Huguette Caland and her work over the years. Intricate crafts like sujani & kantha are the key embroidery techniques been used.



The Loom Art believes in reviving the dying craft culture and heritage of artisans by giving them employement and promoting the craft to sustain it for a lifetime. Recreation of ancient hand embroideries like Kantha, Phulkari, Cross Stitch and further more to remind the consumers of simpler times. The collections are a medium to channelize these techniques with thoughfully designed motifs in order to keep the ancestry of story telling alive.

The label focuses on reviving old authentic craft techniques and generating a platform of employement fo locals and bringing handloom back in vogue. They promote the idea of handwoven textiles and loom made fashion and ensure that the whole process is sustainable in its true sense where they give major credit to the fair trade and fair wage policies. Sustainability to them means sustaining livelihoods of talented artisans and thinking about sustainability as a way of life, for the same they also send a postcard mentioning the artisan that made your garment. ” HAPPY CLOTHES MADE BY HAPPY HANDS”  is their motto which define their beliefs.
